Farmer Dean races to complete Bolita harvest before forecasted rains come in. The Bolitas wait safety inside the big red barn until the bean cleaner is ready for them. Knowing that rain was imminent today, Farmer's father and oldest son take the bolitas to the cleaner last Monday. We await dry weather to transport the cleaned Bolitas from the cleaner to the farm. Please continue checking back! The fields begin their transformation, as Farmer Dean and oldest son shred corn and plant winter cover crops. Only three planting of sweet corn remain. If we do not freeze, we will have sweet corn for two to three more weeks. Time to stock up for winter!
