Pinto Beans
The high altitude of the Estancia Valley, about 6200
feet above sea level, provides excellent conditions for pinto bean growth. High altitude
beans store longer, cook faster and taste better. We believe we grow the best and
guarantee new Estancia Valley pintos each year.
2010 Pintos
available early September.

Bolita Beans
The bolita bean is believed to have been cultivated and developed by the Spanish
who settled in northern New Mexico. The bolita bean is considered to be sweeter, richer tasting and
easier on the stomach than the pinto bean. Bolitas cook faster, are excellent tasting
and may be substituted for the pinto in any recipe.
2010 Bolitas available
mid-September.
